I believe fitness is about finding freedom in movement more than looking a certain way or lifting a certain weight. Fitness is attainable for everyone and it is simply a matter of finding what works for YOU.
My name is Emily and I am the face behind Mountain Rise Coaching. 2020 was a rough year, but it pushed me to pursue some of my passions! One of my passions is fitness and working with others to achieve their goals. This led me to get my Certification in Personal Training through NASM and beginning a coaching business. My desire is to help people get past the hurdles that are keeping them from meeting their fitness goals.
I have two autoimmune conditions that have caused me to adapt my own training programs regularly. I am an endurance athlete at heart and love long days running on the trails. However, I can go a bit overboard when given the opportunity. I have learned (and continue to learn) how to adapt my training so I do not burn out. I am primarily a runner, but I also rotate through rock climbing, paddle boarding, hiking, and skiing. In order to prevent injury and help with my autoimmune flare ups, I have added weight training to my routine. It has been a game changer and has been a confidence booster as well learning to use the barbell for some fresh workouts.
FALL 2021 UPDATE: I am adding on a prenatal/postpartum exercise certification. I will have this complete and available to offer services in this area by January 2022.

As a personal trainer, I take you and your fitness goals seriously. I don't want to make lofty goals that won't last. Fitness is about moving with freedom- whether that is for running, lifting PRs, or just wanting to keep up with your family. I see each person as an individual and will work with you to develop a plan that can bring success for the long haul.

The initial consultation will include assessments to evaluate muscle imbalances and to determine your current fitness level which will influence how workouts are written.

For those who don't want to commit to multiple workouts, but still want some motivation. I will plan a workout for us to do together. $75 for up to a 60 minute session. The first 20-30 minutes will focus on muscle and strength assessments.
Each workout will be tailored to your fitness goals. Eight sessions that will average to about 2 sessions per week. Each workout will be up to 60 minutes depending on your needs.

If you are wanting to build up your cardio and endurance then this option is for you. $100 for a 12-week written plan. Additional costs if you want me to join in-person for any sessions.
